Salary: £28,050 per annum | OTE up to £31,000

Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 18:00, plus every other Saturday 08:00 - 12:00

The Opportunity

We're looking for a customer-focused Service Advisor to join a busy and successful commercial vehicle dealership in Oxford. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, delivering exceptional customer service and keeping things organised. You'll be the link between customers and the workshop, ensuring every vehicle journey runs smoothly from booking through to collection. Previous Service Advisor experience is beneficial, but if you have strong customer service and administration experience with excellent organisational skills, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

As a Service Advisor you'll be responsible for managing the customer journey from start to finish, ensuring customers receive an outstanding experience while helping the workshop operate efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers and provide an exceptional level of service.
  • Book vehicles into the workshop, ensuring appointments maximise workshop capacity.
  • Keep customers updated throughout the repair process.
  • Prepare accurate job cards, estimates and invoices.
  • Explain work completed and identify additional aftersales opportunities where appropriate.
  • Liaise closely with the workshop and parts department to ensure work progresses efficiently.
  • Accurately record warranty, retail, internal and non-chargeable repairs.
  • Maintain workshop loading schedules to ensure resources are effectively planned.

About You

You'll be someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a busy environment and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service. Ideally you'll have:

  • Previous Service Advisor experience (desirable but not essential).
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Administration or office-based experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • The ability to prioritise and organise a busy workload.
  • A positive, professional and proactive approach.
