It’s you we need! Would you relish an opportunity to work long term with small groups of young people? Help them to develop their outdoor skills and give them unforgettable experiences? Work across a region with every day at a different venue? If so, then we need to hear from you.
We are rolling out our mobile offer across schools and children’s homes that are part of our client’s wider organisation. We are looking for multi skilled outdoor instructors to work across the region and deliver a range of outdoor educational activities. This is a full-time year-round role, with potential for personal and professional growth and development.
Who are we looking for:
- You will be passionate about the outdoors and share this passion with others.
- You will have experience and qualifications in outdoor activities and be willing to work with our client’s staff team to develop these further.
- Each day is different and the majority of the sessions you will deliver will be long term, building skills and confidence over the year with our client’s participants.
- You will need to be an excellent communicator and have great people skills.
- You should be able to manage a group in potentially challenging situations.
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable; however, we are excited to hear from applicants with the right attitude, enthusiasm, and outdoor skills.

Qualifications:
You must hold at least one of the following qualifications:
- RCI or CWI or other relevant ropes-based qualification
- ML or HML Award or equivalent
- Mountain Bike Leader/instructor or equivalent
- Paddle UK Instructor / Coach or equivalent
- RYA instructor or equivalent
- DofE Assessor
- Archery GB Instructor award
- Bushcraft practitioner
- Valid First Aid Qualification

Successful applicants will require an enhanced DBS check with child and adult barred checklists included – if you do not have one, this can be instigated for you.
