Lead the design, development, and continuous review of the Fabrication and Welding curriculum to ensure it meets the requirements of industry standards, regulatory bodies, and apprenticeship standards.
Support the tutors to create and maintain course materials, training resources, assessments, and learning plans tailored to the needs of apprentices. Ensure that the curriculum is updated regularly to reflect emerging industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Ensure the curriculum is aligned with internal and external quality assurance requirements, including Ofsted, EPA, and awarding bodies.
Conduct regular reviews of apprenticeship delivery to assess the quality of training, learner outcomes, and adherence to curriculum standards. Collaborate with assessors, tutors, and other stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies for continuous enhancement.
TEAM LEADERSHIP: Lead and support a team of tutors and work-based tutors within the Fabrication and Welding department.
