Our client is an independent training provider based in Bolton delivering Apprenticeships and Training Courses throughout the Northwest. Due to planned strategic growth, they are looking to add a Health and Safety tutor to their team within their Commercial department. They offer continuous professional development across a range of courses to the successful candidate.
Essential Skills
- Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in appropriate occupational area
- Experience in delivering Health & Safety courses
- Experience in delivering First Aid courses
- Experience in delivering Fire Marshal courses
- Minimum 1 year using occupational skills following completion of training
- Flexibility to work outside normal working hours & offsite if required
- A full UK driving licence and a car driver is essential
Desirable Skills
- NEBOSH Certificate or Equivalent in Health & Safety
- TAQA Assessor or willing to acquire qualification / Teaching qualification
- Qualified to deliver other types of courses
- FIAB Registered
- Knowledge of Confined Space delivery
The role is contracted at 36.5 hours per week. The standard working pattern is Monday–Thursday 08:00–16:15 and Friday 08:00–14:00.
