This family run national plant hire company are looking to hire a Transport Manager for their depot in Inverness. To supply an all-inclusive delivery product to their internal and external customer base in a timely manner to meet customer expectations. Whilst delivering a first class service you will manage the day to day operational movements of their Transport Fleet at depot level, working within the legal and compliance framework laid down by regulatory bodies and within company policies.

Plan and distribute work, compiling reports for allocation to drivers, scheduling work for the following day to plan all logistical movements from the Northampton depot to meet customer demands. This includes our Low loader’s, Hiab’s, and Beavertail fleet. Effectively manage all movements of Plant machinery, ensuring movement orders are in place prior to delivery of the products that fall within STGO. Manage the day to day compliance of the department. Liaise with customers on a daily basis to ensure deliveries and collections of plant are completed.
