HGV Technician (Mercedes-Benz)\\n\\nOxford £ 38000- £ 40000\\n\\n40 hours, alternate weeks, 07:30-16:00/13:30-22:00.\\n\\nOur client an award-winning multi-franchise Dealer group, with branches across England, offering extensive coverage for customers throughout the M5, M4 and M42 corridors, they have been announced as a Great Place to Work for three years running, look no further!\\n\\nThey are looking for an experienced and qualified HGV Technician to join their brilliant team at our Mercedes-Benz dealership in Reading. As an HGV Technician, your role will be to keep our customers’ vehicles on the road, via quality, safe and compliant maintenance. The right candidate will be able to deliver an exceptional service and to the highest quality.\\n\\nBeing part of our team is about being experts in what we do.
We are committed to investing in your career and skill set, so when you join our technical team, you will benefit from an annual appraisal and ongoing training.\\n\\nDay to day, you will be:\\n\\nPerforming major and minor repairs to Mercedes-Benz trucks.\\nPerforming regular inspection and general preventive maintenance services.\\nMaintaining inventory in the workshop and cleanliness from oil spills and dust.\\nWorking with repair teams to help diagnose and plan repairs for the vehicles.\\nMaintaining records of vehicles that have been repaired, using all appropriate modules of Keyloop/Kerridge.\\nCompleting relevant documentation and paperwork as required and providing warranty claims or escalating them to higher management.\\nCarry out wheel alignment and tyre fitting.\\nComplete customer documentation while working to agreed time scales.Qualification – You will need to be level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualification) in HGV Vehicle Repair and maintenance, plus, will have experience in carrying out diagnostic and service repairs.
