Reporting To: Warehouse Supervisor
PURPOSE OF POSITION
To process incoming deliveries for parts and materials and ensure that the associated paperwork and systems are applied in accordance with the company’s procedures. Assist with the supply of all demand to Project sites worldwide. To carry out any other tasks as reasonably required by management.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Stock Control: Ensure all stock transactions are processed on the system in real time. Ensure all documents are filed and are readily available. Locate & Re-Locate goods as appropriate, both physically & in the system.
- Stock Receipts: Ensuring that delivered goods are inspected, recorded and put into the correct store’s location, or elsewhere as appropriate. Notify any discrepancies found.
- Kitting / Issuing of Materials / Components: Processing stores requisitions for workshop and project demand.
- Communication: Liaising with all other departments on stock-related issues where appropriate. Providing information and reports for line managers as required. The role requires regular liaison with the Procurement, Workshop, PQT.
- Other Responsibilities: Assistance with mobilization of all CRC equipment and Dangerous Goods. Liaising closely with supply chain. Providing any other assistance that may be necessary to carry out above duties improvement initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS
- Job Specific Education Required: GCSE Maths / English
- Work Experience Required: Experience of working within a stores environment – 1 year minimum
- Skills & Knowledge Required: FLT Counterbalance Experience (B1/B2) – non-negotiable. Literate/numerical. Computer Literate: Essential: Microsoft Excel / Essential: SAP. Good communication skills. Able to work on own initiative or as a team player.
