Territories available: Wales, West Midlands, Shropshire, Warwickshire, Greater London, Hertfordshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire.
47.5 hours a week - 08:00-18:00 (30 mins unpaid break).
Β£45,000 - uncapped commission structure with an OTE of up to Β£80k pa.
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Area Sales Manager to drive the sales of 3 construction brands: Hyundai construction equipment, Mecalac dumpers & Dieci telehandlers. This is a field-based role for a motivated individual with a proven track record in plant, construction, or heavy equipment sales.
With a passion for exceeding sales targets and building brilliant relationships, you will constantly increase the client base whilst ensuring outstanding customer service. You will have an established customer base that you would bring over to our business and partner brands.
Day to day, you will:
- Contribute to the sales growth of the division by generating sales leads as a result of effective networking, referrals and prospecting.
- Successfully identify, penetrate and close business opportunities to an effective conclusion, whilst identifying and securing additional sales opportunities such as parts and service.
- Prepare and follow-up with quotations, ensuring timely customer payments.
- Monitor orders closely, rapidly escalating any lost order issues to minimise any financial loss.
- Consistently achieve sales and profitability targets.
- Maintain an excellent relationship with suppliers ensuring the correct specifications for an order are delivered to the customer.
- Work and communicate effectively with aftersales to ensure a smooth, seamless handover of products to customers.
- Actively develop a network of customer relationships with both new and existing clients.
- Maintain an accurate database of all customer contact details.
