I am working with a company who trains up service leavers and employs them as window cleaners. Their whole workforce will be ex-forces. They provide the work, training, van, insurance, uniform etc. The idea is to be employed for the first twelve months and then you will have the option to become self-employed or stay as PAYE. Everything is done over an app; the van is programmed with the route, and you don’t need to get involved with taking money or gaining more business – it is literally cleaning windows for an average of 30 customers per day who will be in close proximity.

When training, the salary is £24K, which goes up to £26K once trained. They are looking for people anywhere in Manchester, Bolton, Preston, and Cheshire. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 3 pm – you can start and finish sooner if you want to. A driving licence is a must; it doesn’t matter if you have points.
