Our client is expanding following major contract growth within the EV roadside support sector. They are now looking to recruit multiple Roadside Recovery Technicians to support electric vehicle drivers requiring roadside charging assistance and light vehicle support. This is not traditional “tow truck” recovery work. The role focuses on helping stranded EV drivers safely get moving again through rapid roadside charging support, battery assistance and customer care.
The Role
- You will attend roadside breakdown situations involving electric vehicles and provide safe, professional assistance to customers.
- The position is customer-facing and requires somebody who can remain calm under pressure and deliver a reassuring service experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing roadside EV charging support using company-provided equipment
- Assisting customers who have run out of charge
- Carrying out basic roadside support including 12V battery changes
- Remaining with customers where additional support or recovery is required
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and professionally
- Delivering excellent customer service during breakdown situations
- Working closely with the wider roadside and control teams
