There are currently opportunities arising as part of our continued expansion across our specialist tax teams. Our team is building on years of continued growth, with a specific focus for recruiting the right individuals to support our clients. As a result of this we are currently looking to recruit a Tax Disputes and Resolutions Director into our national team to work with businesses and individuals as well as HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) in resolving issues relating to tax disputes and enquiries. The successful individual will combine technical expertise with expert knowledge and experience to obtain successful outcomes to our client\’s interactions with HMRC.
This opportunity shall involve:
- Working as a leader in the national team and developing relationships with a portfolio of clients and acting as the main point of contact.
- Delivering a high-quality Tax Dispute Resolution Service to clients, in collaboration with colleagues and other service lines
- Working closely with colleagues to deliver solutions to clients whilst adhering to the quality standards at Forvis Mazars
- Working closely with partners in terms of external business development activities and internal networking
- Being a positive influence on junior members of staff and taking an active role in their development.
The ideal candidate for this position shall have the following:
- ACA/ACCA/ CTA qualified, or equivalent
- Experience of operating up to a minimum of senior manager level
- Familiar in liaising with the HMRC with excellent communication skills
- Experience in client handling and managing a busy team
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a desire to network both externally and internally
