Tax Advisory Associate Director

b Overview /b p In this role you will advise mid-market and privately owned clients on complex tax legislation, shaping practical solutions across areas such as CIR, Patent Box and R D. You work with a diverse client base, building trusted relationships and delivering advisory work that supports business goals. You will partner with client teams to manage risk, drive satisfaction, and win new opportunities. Based in Edinburgh, you join a collaborative, inclusive environment focused on growth, belonging, and real impact. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Build relationships with mid-market clients, understand issues, and anticipate needs /li li Advise on complex tax legislation affecting mid-sized groups /li li Manage client risk and elevate client satisfaction /li li Provide advisory services across CIR, Patent Box, R D, reorganisations and transaction support /li li Handle a portfolio of family-owned and PE-backed clients and deliver value-added advisory work /li li Identify opportunities to grow advisory services and win new work /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li ACA and/or CTA /li li Experience with a portfolio of medium-sized groups providing corporate tax advisory /li li Strong technical tax knowledge for medium-sized businesses /li li Experience managing client relationships and delivering advisory work /li li Experience building new relationships and acquiring advisory engagements /li /ul ul li relationship management /li li business development /li li clear communication /li li corporate tax advisory /li li CIR /li li Patent Box /li /ul
