About The Team:
Part of our Private Client business, the Financial Planning team provides independent, client-focused financial advice to individuals and families with a wide range of personal and financial needs. Our clients include entrepreneurs and owner-managed businesses, high-net-worth individuals and families, senior executives and professionals, as well as trusts, estates and clients with complex tax and succession planning requirements. Working closely with colleagues across Tax, Audit and Advisory, the team delivers joined-up, holistic advice that goes beyond traditional financial planning. You will be involved in building and maintaining trusted client relationships, supporting business growth and contributing to the continued development of our Financial Planning offering. From day one, you will gain early responsibility and exposure to high-quality clients, while being supported by experienced leaders in a collaborative and values-driven environment where your ideas are encouraged and your career can develop.
What You Will Do:
- Client Leadership – Lead and manage a portfolio of high-quality private clients, delivering trusted, independent financial planning advice tailored to individual needs.
- Advisory Oversight – Provide sophisticated financial planning solutions across investments, retirement, protection, estate and succession planning.
- Client Strategy – Develop and implement client strategies aligned to personal objectives, tax considerations, and long-term financial goals.
- Review & Delivery – Oversee the preparation, review and delivery of financial planning advice, ensuring regulatory, technical and firm standards are met.
- Business Development – Generate new leads and prospects through personal networks, intermediaries, and collaboration with colleagues across the firm.
- Team Leadership – Lead, manage and develop Financial Planning colleagues, fostering high performance, engagement and professional development.
What You Will Bring:
- Qualification – Chartered Financial Planner status (or working towards) preferred.
- Advisory Experience – Significant experience in Financial Planning, with a minimum of 5+ years advising private clients.
- Level of Responsibility – Demonstrated experience operating at Director level or in a senior advisory role with leadership responsibility.
- Leadership Experience – Proven ability to lead, manage and develop Financial Planning teams, acting as a positive role model.
- Technical Expertise – Strong technical knowledge across complex planning areas, including investments, pensions, tax-efficient planning and estate planning.
- Business Development – Proven and demonstrable track record of winning new clients and developing sustainable revenue streams.
