Overview
In this role you will lead and expand the financial planning function across central London and Sutton, managing a portfolio of clients and building a local market presence. You will identify planning opportunities, provide high‑quality advice, and collaborate with the broader Forvis Mazars business to drive growth. You will balance client service with new-business development while maintaining technical excellence in personal tax and financial planning.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of financial planning clients and identify opportunities to pursue
- Provide appropriate financial planning advice to internal and externally referred clients
- Develop and execute a plan to win new clients in the local market
- Collaborate on the growth of the Milton Keynes business with the wider firm
- Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of personal tax and financial planning
- Comply with the Training and Competence Scheme of Forvis Mazars Financial Planning
- Support the local market presence and cross-office collaboration
- Strategically grow client relationships and service delivery in a hybrid working model
Key requirements
- Diploma (minimum) in finance or related field
- Strong financial planning experience
- Evidence of ability to generate new work from new clients externally
- Ability to proactively manage existing client relationships and develop new ones
