About the team and role

This role is responsible for the design, build and delivery of core development curricula across the firm—ensuring high-quality, practical and engaging learning experiences that support people at all career stages. The role focuses on translating strategy into delivery, leading on programme and curriculum design, and ensuring learning is accessible, relevant and impactful.

Curriculum design & delivery

  • Design and manage structured development curricula across key areas:
  • Talent development programmes
  • Team member development (core skills and capability building)
  • Digital and self-directed learning offerings
  • Ensure all learning is practical, role-relevant and aligned to development pathways.

Early careers collaboration

  • Partner with the Early Careers team to design and embed clear development pathways from trainee through to manager level.
  • Support the integration of core skills (e.g. relationship, commercial and leadership capability) within early careers programmes.
  • Ensure strong alignment between professional qualification pathways and wider skills development.

Skills integration & Subject Matter Expertise

  • Act as a subject matter expert in skills development, working with wider People & Culture teams to translate firmwide priorities and skills requirements into engaging and practical learning solutions.
  • Partner with People Experience to embed our culture statements and inclusive ways of working into programme design.
  • Work with technical training teams to embed skills development within technical programmes, ensuring capabilities are applied in real work contexts.
  • Design learning that brings skills to life through application, scenarios and real-world context.

Programme management

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of development programmes, including design, facilitation, logistics and evaluation.
  • Facilitate development programmes and sessions as part of end-to-end delivery, ensuring a practical, engaging and consistent learner experience.
  • Continuously review and refresh content, ensuring it reflects evolving business needs and feedback.
  • Manage the firm’s mentoring offer, ensuring it is clearly structured, effectively delivered and aligned to wider talent development priorities.
  • Introduce modern learning approaches, including blended learning and experiential development.

Learning experience & access

  • Curate and organise learning into clear pathways and structured journeys for different roles and career stages.
  • Enable learning at the point of need, ensuring individuals can easily access relevant content.
  • Support the creation of tailored learning journeys and curated content for teams and populations.

Stakeholder engagement

  • Work with service lines, People & Culture and subject matter experts to ensure learning meets business needs.
  • Support people managers and partners to embed learning into day-to-day development.

Innovation & continuous improvement

  • Bring new ideas and external best practice into programme design.
  • Leverage technology and tools (including AI-enabled features where appropriate) to enhance learning.
  • Use feedback and data to continuously improve effectiveness.

Measurement & reporting

  • Track participation, engagement and outcomes across programmes.
  • Provide insight on what is working and where to evolve.
