Job Purpose
This role is key in supporting the Change Management Office to deliver successful transformation and business change. The purpose is to ensure projects are being delivered within the required standards through monitoring and guidance, as well as supporting the maturity of PMO services.
About the role
- Performance Monitoring: Tracking and analysing the performance of projects, highlighting variances, and assisting with corrective measures.
- Project Governance: Ensuring adherence to organisational policies, processes, and project management frameworks.
- Reporting and Dashboards: Developing, maintaining, and distributing reports and dashboards to provide visibility into project progress, budgets, milestones, and other KPIs.
- Financial Tracking: Monitoring project budgets, expenses, and forecasts to ensure financial control and accountability.
- Resource management: Monitoring project resource demand and supply to ensure effective delivery within correct prioritisation.
- Risk and Issue Management: Identifying, documenting, and monitoring risks and issues, and supporting project teams in mitigating these effectively.
- Stakeholder Communication: Acting as a point of contact for communication between project teams and stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is informed and aligned.
- Data Analysis and Insights: Gathering, analysing, and interpreting project data to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
- Tool and System Management: Maintaining project management tools and systems and providing technical support or training to users when needed.
What we are looking for
- Experience within a Project Management Office.
- Understanding of project management frameworks and methodologies.
- Ability to examine, analyse and interpret a range of information.
- Critical thinking with the ability to make a sound judgement based on available data.
- Problem solving to overcome obstacles and resolve issues.
- Organised and good time management skills.
- Strong communication skills to build good relationships with key stakeholders
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast paced, agile environment
- Proficient with MS applications such as Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technology
