About The Team:
Our Audit team here at Forvis Mazars specialises in delivering high quality services to our clients. Our specialist Public Sector team provides distinctive audit and advisory services across local authorities and councils across the UK, central government bodies and their subsidiaries, NHS trusts, integrated care boards, and health organisations.
As a Manager, you will lead multiple audit engagements from planning through to finalisation of reports in line with agreed timescales. You will work closely with clients and be committed to providing an exceptional service. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of stakeholder relationships at audited entities and will be expected to work with senior level staff whilst overseeing and developing the team.
What are we looking for?
- Prior experience of working at an experienced Audit Assistant Manager or Manager level.
- Technical knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, FRS 102 and Companies Act.
- Experience of leading external audits managing a portfolio of clients and leading audit teams.
- Experience of managing, training, and coaching team members.
