The HR Business Partner team at Forvis Mazars in the UK is a pillar within our People & Culture, Business Services team and a key collaborator with our people experience, talent acquisition, learning & development, people & business operations and finance teams to name a few. In this role, the successful candidate will join a team of 10 dedicated HR Business Partners and will support our Audit service line, taking responsibility for their own client group and teams with support from our Audit Senior HR Business Partner and other Audit HR Business Partners.
We are seeking a junior HR Business Partner looking to take the next step in their career in a dynamic and commercial role within our supportive team. The role will focus on creating a joined‑up strategic approach for our client groups, working together to build the firm of the future, simplifying processes, strengthening teams and managing risk effectively.

What we are looking for:
- Contribute to the creation of the service line people plan in collaboration with service line people partner sponsors and leadership teams, supporting to translate business strategy into people priorities.
- Take responsibility for collaboratively driving the delivery of, and leadership reporting on, people plan and cyclical people activities including performance cycle, promotions, bonus and reward activity in assigned business areas.
- Collaborate with leaders to create the service line talent pipeline and drive succession planning conversations. This includes leading talent mapping discussions and identifying opportunities to develop team members and drive higher performance to create a diverse team for the future in a fair and sustainable way.
- Actively contribute to progressing our ‘through all' actions to ensure engagement, equity, inclusion, diversity, wellbeing and our culture are part of all we do as HR Business Partners and feature in all people activity. This includes data analysis and action planning following our engagement survey.
- Contribute to / closely collaborate with our employee relations and advisory teams on matters including business change projects and supporting with performance matters and investigations.
- Proactively create and use people analytics to challenge and inform discussions with our client groups across all areas of people activity. This includes analysing all workforce metrics to provide data driven insights and recommendations.
- Provide high quality coaching to people managers and partners to ensure they role model our culture statements, expected behaviours and adopt a proactive approach to driving higher performance. This includes supporting to create our people manager webinar and upskilling series and promoting the resources on our people manager hub to drive consistency across all people related matters.
- Apply a future focused approach to strategic workforce planning alongside our Senior HR Business Partner, operations and finance leads to drive the creation of our optimum operating structure and optimise the workforce skills and capabilities critical to our future success.
- Empower junior ‘Aspire' leadership teams and people leads to provide diversity of perspective and thought leadership whilst supporting with project conceptualisation and delivery.
