It is a really exciting time to join our fast-growing business as we scale our operations across Brussels, Europe, and the globe. We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Event Manager to join our Cardiff-based team and help deliver high-calibre international projects.

We are looking for a focused and experienced Event Manager to join our team during a period of steady growth. Specialising in digital policy events, Forum Europe orchestrates high-calibre international conferences, and this role is essential to maintaining our standard of delivery. We require a professional with at least 2 years of project management experience, strong logistical skills, and the willingness to travel to manage event operations across Europe and beyond. Based in our Cardiff office with hybrid flexibility, you will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of premier projects within a dedicated, global team.

Your Role Will Involve:

  • Planning & Logistics: Taking charge of event planning and logistics, working closely with company directors and stakeholders.
  • Strategy: Collaborating with a dedicated team to conceptualize and execute premier international digital policy events.
  • Stakeholder Management: Building and nurturing relationships with clients, sponsors, high-level speakers, and delegates.
  • Technical Management: Overseeing the creation and management of event websites and virtual platforms.
  • Marketing: Crafting event marketing communications.
  • On-Site Execution: Traveling to and managing on-site event operations to ensure a seamless experience for in-person and virtual participants.
  • Analysis: Conducting comprehensive post-event evaluations and reporting.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Project Management: Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in project or event management.
  • Logistical Expertise: Exceptional organizational skills, multitasking abilities, and detail orientation, with a capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Travel: A willingness and ability to travel is required.
  • Work Authorisation: Valid authorisation to work in the United Kingdom is essential.

Desired Skills:

  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and other packages such as Adobe Suite.
