Electrical Maintenance – Social Housing

Location: Wickford

We are currently working in partnership with a leading contractor specialising in electrical works within social housing. They are seeking an experienced Electrical Tester to join their team, covering Wickford.

This role involves carrying out all aspects of electrical testing across both occupied and void properties, including completion of inspections, testing, and associated C1 & C2 remedial works and fault finding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical testing and inspection within social housing properties
  • Completion of EICRs
  • Carrying out C1 & C2 remedial works
  • Fault finding and minor electrical repairs
  • Working in both occupied and void properties
Essential Qualifications
  • City & Guilds 236 Part 1 & 2 (or NVQ Level 3 equivalent)
  • 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
  • 2391 / 2394 / 2395 Inspection & Testing
  • JIB/Gold card & AM2 (Not mandatory)
