Fortus Recruitment Group Limited are a recruitment company that specialise in placing people within the repairs & maintenance industry. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Roofer to carry out responsive repairs and maintenance across social housing properties in Staines. Duties
Carrying out roofing repairs across occupied properties
Replacing roof tiles, felt, battens and flat roofing systems
Completing leadwork, chimney repairs and replacing ridge tiles
Repairing guttering, fascias, soffits and downpipes
Identifying roofing defects and carrying out remedial works
Responding to emergency repairs, including leaks and storm damage
Ensuring all work meets Health & Safety standards
Maintaining a professional approach when dealing with residents
Requirements
Proven experience as a Roofer
Experience in domestic repairs and maintenance, ideally within social housing
Knowledge of pitched and flat roofing systems
Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Full UK driving licence
Details
Full-time, permanent position
Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm (42.5 hours per week)
Company van and fuel card provided
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
