Job Description
Fortus Recruitment Group Limited are a recruitment company that specialise in placing people within the repairs & maintenance industry.
We are currently working on behalf of a large social housing contractor. My client is currently looking for a Roofer to carry out day to day roofing repairs and maintenance within occupied properties in the Surrey and surrounding areas.
This is an opportunity to join a growing organisation with plenty of room for progression.
Duties will include:
- All aspects of roofing repairs and maintenance
- Repair and maintenance of flat, tiled and slated roofs
- Inspect roof defects and determine appropriate repair methods
- Minor carpentry works associated with roofing
- Lead work and flashing repairs
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with Health & Safety regulations
- Working in accordance with building regulations and roofing safety standards
This is a permanent position and you will receive the below:

- 23 days holidays (increasing with length of service)

Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2 in Roofing or equivalent
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Minimum 3 years' experience in roofing, ideally within social housing or repairs & maintenance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- DBS check required
