Our client, an established maintenance contractor based in Leicester, is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their property services division. With a number of long-term contracts already secured and further exciting frameworks and projects in the pipeline, this is an incredible opportunity to join a reputable and established business with long-term security and career prospects.
Day to day responsibilities will include:
- Cost planning
- Closing out and setting up contracts commercially
- Liaising with the operational team to ensure works are completed on time and within budget
- Reconciling cost/value reports & profit forecasts
- Working off the NHF Schedule of rates
- Approving sub-contractors & supplier payments
- Attending & chairing progress meetings with clients
- Regular on-site visits
- Overlooking P&L with operational leads
- Cash flow management
