My client are a national construction contractor who are currently recruiting for a Contract Manager to head up several contracts. They will be delivering circa £5 million PA and will consist of fire protection projects such as fire door installation and fire stopping works.
The Role:
- Work alongside a commercial manager ensuring P&L, budgets and deadlines are met.
- Responsible for ensuring the level of service and quality is to the highest standard as well as cost control, creating CPP & programming of works and budgeting.
- Implement strong H&S.
- Direct team will include management, supervisors, operatives & office staff.
- Report directly to the divisional director who will support in making the contracts a success.
The Candidate:
- Extensive building knowledge and experience managing passive fire protection contracts.
- Experience managing multiple site teams, strategically planning projects and an ability to problem solve in complex situations.
- Good knowledge of up-to-date legislations and strong organisational skills.
- Ability to create a strong working environment, where everyone is working as a team to achieve targets and goals on the contract.
- Ability to build strong relationships with the client and team members.
