We are looking for an experienced and reliable Social Housing Electrician to join our growing maintenance team working across occupied and void social housing properties. The successful candidate will carry out electrical repairs, testing, maintenance, and installation works while delivering excellent customer service to tenants and clients.

This role involves working in domestic social housing environments, ensuring all electrical works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with current regulations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out responsive electrical repairs and maintenance in social housing properties
  • Complete EICRs, fault finding, testing, and remedial works
  • Undertake small installation works including consumer units, lighting, sockets, and rewires
  • Ensure all work complies with current BS7671 regulations
  • Accurately complete job sheets and certification paperwork
  • Provide excellent customer service while working in occupied homes
  • Maintain company vehicle and equipment responsibly
  • Work independently and manage daily workloads effectively
  • Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • 2391 Testing & Inspection qualification (desirable)
  • Previous experience within social housing or domestic maintenance
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
