We are currently looking for an experienced Groundworker / Bricklayer Multi-Trade Operative to join our growing team working across Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire on social housing repair and maintenance contracts. This is a mobile role carrying out a variety of reactive and planned repair works to occupied and void properties. A company van and fuel card will be supplied.
Key Responsibilities- Brickwork repairs and repointing
- Slab laying, paving and fencing repairs
- Concrete and drainage repairs
- Groundworks including excavation and reinstatement
- Carrying out general multi-trade repair works where required
- Working within occupied social housing properties and communal areas
- Ensuring all works are completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety requirements
- Providing excellent customer service to tenants and clients
- Proven experience as a Groundworker and Bricklayer
- Experience working within social housing or domestic repairs environment preferred
- Ability to carry out multi-trade works beneficial
- Full UK driving licence required
- CSCS card preferred
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Able to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Salary: £37,000 – £39,000 DOE
