Fortus Recruitment are currently working with a well-established organisation who are looking for an experienced Repairs Planner to join their team in Hutton on a temp-to-perm basis. The role will involve coordinating and scheduling repairs, managing operative diaries and ensuring works are completed efficiently and within agreed timescales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and scheduling repairs and maintenance works
- Allocating jobs to operatives and managing diaries
- Booking appointments with residents and customers
- Liaising with operatives, subcontractors and internal teams
- Keeping customers updated on repairs and appointments
- Monitoring outstanding jobs and ensuring works are progressed
- Managing access issues, cancellations and rebooking
- Dealing with customer queries and escalating issues where required
- Maintaining accurate records and updating relevant systems
- Ensuring jobs are completed within agreed timescales and SLAs
- General administration and support within the repairs team
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience as a Repairs Planner, Planner, Scheduler or similar
- Experience within social housing, property services, repairs or maintenance is desirable
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Confident managing a busy workload and prioritising tasks
- Good IT and Microsoft Office skills
- Proactive and professional approach
- Ability to work well under pressure
