Benefits: Company Van & Fuel Card | On-Call Allowance Fortus recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a respected Housing Association for an experienced Multi-Skilled Joiner to join their responsive repairs team covering Harrogate and the surrounding areas.

The Role As a Multi-Skilled Joiner, your primary responsibility will be delivering high-quality joinery repairs and maintenance within occupied and void social housing properties.
In addition to your core trade, you will carry out a variety of multi-trade repairs to achieve first-time fixes and provide an excellent service to tenants.
You will be expected to work independently, manage your own workload effectively, and ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities Carry out high-quality joinery repairs and maintenance.
Complete additional multi-trade repairs where required to achieve first-time fixes.
Deliver excellent customer service while working within tenants' homes.
Accurately complete job records and associated paperwork using company systems.
Maintain company vehicle, tools, equipment, and stock to required standards.
Follow all health and safety procedures and safe working practices.
Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota.
On-Call Requirement The successful candidate will be required to participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota.
On-call payment: £525 for each week on call.
Full details of the rota and expectations will be discussed during the interview process.
Requirements NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in Joinery.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Strong joinery skills with the ability to undertake a range of multi-trade repairs.
Experience working in a customer-focused, target-driven environment.
Ability to work independently, prioritise workload, and solve problems effectively.
Good understanding of health and safety legislation and safe working practices.
Social housing experience is desirable.
Candidates must have access to their own power tools.
