We are currently working for a leading contractor who are looking for an Electrical qualifying supervisor to work across multiple contracts in the Surrey and Kent areas. The candidate chosen will be required to provide a comprehensive electrical compliance service and will be responsible for overseeing electrical installation, maintenance, testing, and compliance works within social housing properties. The role ensures all electrical works meet statutory regulations and industry standards while providing leadership and technical support to electricians and contractors.
Role requirements:
- Providing technical support to our electricians across our varying contracts
- Conducting regular Quality Control Inspections on both WIP and Post Works carried out by our internal electricians and approved sub-contractors
- Conduct talk box talks for both operatives
- Liase with contractors to ensure works are completed in a professional manner
Qualifications & Experience:
- Fully qualified electrician with NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- Current BS7671: Requirements for Electrical Installations (18th Edition)
- City & Guilds 2391 (or 2394/2395) Testing & Inspection qualification
- Recognised Qualified Supervisor status with NICEIC/NAPIT (or equivalent)
- Proven experience supervising electrical works, preferably within social housing or similar residential environments
- Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation and compliance obligations
