We are currently seeking an experienced Multi Trade Operative to join our team covering Cambridge and the surrounding areas. This role involves carrying out reactive maintenance and repair works within occupied and void social housing properties.

The ideal candidate will have a strong all-round skillset and take pride in delivering high-quality work while providing excellent customer service to tenants and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carrying out reactive maintenance repairs within social housing properties
  • Completing a range of multi-trade works including:
    • Carpentry repairs and installations
    • Basic plumbing maintenance
    • Wall and floor tiling
    • Patch plastering and making good
    • Internal painting and decorating
  • Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently and safely
  • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety regulations
  • Maintaining clear communication with tenants and office staff
  • Keeping company vehicle and equipment in good condition
Requirements:
  • Proven experience working as a Multi Trade Operative
  • Competent across carpentry, plumbing, tiling, plastering, and decorating
  • Previous experience within social housing or reactive maintenance preferred
  • Full UK driving licence essential
  • Ability to work independently and manage daily workloads effectively
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
