Fortus Recruitment are currently working with a well-established organisation who are looking for an experienced Repairs Planner to join their team in Hutton on a temp-to-perm basis. The role will involve coordinating and scheduling repairs, managing operative diaries and ensuring works are completed efficiently and within agreed timescales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and scheduling repairs and maintenance works
  • Allocating jobs to operatives and managing diaries
  • Booking appointments with residents and customers
  • Liaising with operatives, subcontractors and internal teams
  • Keeping customers updated on repairs and appointments
  • Monitoring outstanding jobs and ensuring works are progressed
  • Managing access issues, cancellations and rebooking
  • Dealing with customer queries and escalating issues where required
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating relevant systems
  • Ensuring jobs are completed within agreed timescales and SLAs
  • General administration and support within the repairs team

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience as a Repairs Planner, Planner, Scheduler or similar
  • Experience within social housing, property services, repairs or maintenance is desirable
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Confident managing a busy workload and prioritising tasks
  • Good IT and Microsoft Office skills
  • Proactive and professional approach
  • Ability to work well under pressure
