We are currently working with a leading contractor who is looking for a Senior Repairs Administrator to join their responsive repairs team in Brentwood. This is a permanent position focused on managing workflow, delivering excellent customer service, overseeing a team of up to 15 administrators/planners, and ensuring operational KPIs are consistently achieved within a fast-paced repairs and maintenance environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing day-to-day workflow within the responsive repairs team
  • Leading, supporting, and motivating a team of up to 15 staff members
  • Monitoring and tracking KPIs to ensure service delivery targets are achieved
  • Delivering a high standard of customer service and resolving escalated queries
  • Managing repairs administration processes from job allocation through to completion
  • Liaising with operatives, supervisors, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Ensuring works are scheduled efficiently and completed within agreed timescales
  • Producing reports and analysing performance data to identify improvements
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems
  • Supporting senior management with operational and performance reporting
  • Ensuring compliance with company procedures and service level agreements

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience within a Senior Administrator, Repairs Administrator, or Planning role
  • Experience working within responsive repairs, social housing, or maintenance environments
  • Proven experience managing or supervising teams
  • Strong understanding of KPI management and service performance monitoring
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and internal scheduling systems
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks effectively
