We are currently recruiting for experienced Painters & Decorators to work on ongoing social housing refurbishment and maintenance projects across the Bristol, Swindon and Devon areas for an established maintenance contractor. The work will involve redecoration and minor repairs within social housing properties, with ongoing work available for reliable workers.
Duties
- Internal painting and decorating within social housing properties
- Redecoration of rooms and properties
- Filling, sanding and preparing surfaces
- Minor repairs and making good
- Working to a high standard and completing jobs within agreed timescales
- Working independently across multiple properties
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator
- Own tools required
- Own transport essential to start
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Social housing or refurbishment experience preferred
- Asbestos Awareness required - internal training can be provided if needed

- Up to £170 per day
- Self-employed basis

- Government minimum mileage contribution
- Van and fuel card may be provided following a performance review
