Fortus recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Trade Operative to join a well-established social housing contractor carrying out work across Worcester and Stroud. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled tradesperson looking for consistent, long-term work with a reputable contractor.
The Role
You will be working on void properties, carrying out refurbishment and repair works to prepare homes for new tenants. The role requires a strong all-round skillset and the ability to complete work to a high standard.
Duties will include:
- Carpentry repairs and installations
- Basic plumbing works
- Wall and floor tiling
- Patch plastering and making good
- Internal painting and decorating
- General multi-trade maintenance as required
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience working as a Multi Trade Operative, ideally within social housing or property maintenance
- Strong carpentry skills with experience across other trades
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
