We are currently recruiting for an experienced Plumber Multi to carry out reactive repairs and maintenance across occupied social housing properties for an established maintenance contractor in Swindon and the surrounding areas. The role will be mainly plumbing focused, with some multi-trade work involved. The successful candidate will be carrying out responsive repairs across occupied properties and will need to be comfortable working directly with residents. Duties Carrying out reactive plumbing repairs Diagnosing and resolving leaks and general plumbing faults Repairing and replacing taps, valves, toilets, sinks, baths and other sanitaryware Repairing waste pipework, traps and accessible pipework Isolating and restoring water supplies and checking completed repairs Completing minor multi-trade works including tiling, plastering, decorating and carpentry Removing and reinstating boxing, access panels and kitchen fittings where required Making good following repairs Completing repairs on the first visit where possible Working independently across multiple occupied properties Communicating professionally with residents and reporting any additional works required Requirements Proven experience as a Plumber Multi Strong domestic plumbing background Experience carrying out reactive repairs and maintenance Relevant plumbing qualification such as NVQ Level 2 or equivalent, or demonstrable plumbing experience Good supporting multi-trade skills Own tools required Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points Good communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and manage a daily schedule Social housing or occupied property experience preferred Details Temp-to-perm position 3 months initially on a temporary basis Company van provided Fuel card provided Ongoing work available Working across Swindon and surrounding areas Please apply if you are interested in the role or would like to find out further information.
