Our Client is currently looking for a working supervisor. They have recently won a number of new contracts in their division and as such they are looking to add to their team. On a day to day basis, you will act as an integral part of the operational team and carry out the following duties:
- Working supervisor - out on the road, can carry out jobs if necessary
- Key person to inspect void properties and plan out list of works that are needed to complete in order to relet the property
- Sign off properties after works have been completed
- Conduct regular toolbox talks with the team
- Monthly van inspections
- Ensure compliance within the company following company policies and procedures
- Health and Safety compliance maintained
- Allocation of maintenance tasks and ensuring tasks are getting completed effectively and efficiently
- Positive attitude towards work and to work in a growing business
- Team KPIs, managing inventories, testing equipment
- Liaising with upper management on current company targets and goals
- Lead point of contact for maintenance staff
You will need:
- CSCS card - Supervisor / Manager / Professionally qualified person or SMSTS or SSSTS
- First Aid
- Previous experience managing labour-based activities (preferably within the construction industry) as a foreman/ be able to hold toolbox talks
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience knowledge of industry H&S
- Experience with quoting up works
- Experience supervising and running of contracts on site so work is completed on time, to required quality and cost effectively
- Planning, set up and visit sites to check production and controls
