Fortus Recruitment is a specialist recruitment agency within the repairs and maintenance sector. We are currently working with a well-established contractor who is looking to recruit an experienced Resident Liaison Officer to support planned maintenance works across the Slough area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused individual with experience working within social housing and planned maintenance projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Acting as the main point of contact for residents throughout planned maintenance works
  • Booking appointments and coordinating access to occupied properties
  • Keeping tenants informed before, during, and after works are completed
  • Handling resident queries, concerns, and complaints professionally
  • Carrying out pre and post-work property visits where required
  • Working closely with site teams, operatives, and contractors to ensure smooth delivery of works
  • Building positive relationships with tenants and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Maintaining accurate records, reports, and updates on internal systems
  • Ensuring all communication is clear, timely, and professional
Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience as a Resident Liaison Officer within social housing or planned maintenance works
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organisational and administrative abilities
  • Confident managing resident expectations in occupied properties
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft Office and internal systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
