Fortus recruitment are currently recruiting for an Approved Electrician on a straight perm basis working for a leading building services and facilities management company. The salary for the role is £45,000 with a company van and fuel card supplied covering East London and Essex.

Ideal Background:

  • Qualified Electrician with a recognised Level 3 Electrical Qualification
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working as an Electrician
  • At least 1 year's experience within the social housing sector is essential
  • Holds current 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification
  • ECS or CSCS card holder
  • Experienced in installation, testing, fault finding, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
  • Ability to complete inspection and testing works (2391 Inspection & Testing qualification desirable)
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and safe working practices
  • Comfortable working independently and managing workloads across multiple sites
  • Experience mentoring or supporting apprentices would be advantageous
  • Strong customer service and communication skills when working with residents, clients, and colleagues
  • Full clean UK driving licence essential
