Fortus Recruitment Group Limited are a recruitment company that specialise in placing professionals within the repairs & maintenance sector. We are currently working with a number of established contractors and housing providers who are looking to recruit an experienced Carpenter Multi Trader. This is an excellent opportunity to join well-established maintenance teams delivering essential repairs within residential properties.

Duties will include:

  • Carrying out a wide range of carpentry repairs including doors, frames, locks, and general joinery
  • Kitchen repairs and installations (including basic 1st & 2nd fix work)
  • Diagnosing faults and completing first-time fix repairs where possible
  • Undertaking additional multi-trade works such as basic plumbing, patch plastering and decorating
  • Responsive maintenance and repairs within occupied and void properties
  • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety requirements
  • Managing workload effectively and updating jobs via mobile systems

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience as a Carpenter Multi Trader
  • Essential: Experience within Social Housing, MOD or similar residential environments
  • Strong carpentry skills as your core trade, with additional trade knowledge
  • Relevant qualifications desirable (NVQ/City & Guilds)
  • Full UK driving licence
