Fortus Recruitment Group Limited are a recruitment company that specialise in placing people within the repairs & maintenance industry. We are currently working with a number of established contractors and housing providers who are looking to recruit experienced Multi Traders. This is a great opportunity to join well-established maintenance teams delivering essential repairs within residential properties.
Duties will include:
- Carrying out a wide range of maintenance and repair work across multiple trades
- Works to include carpentry, basic plumbing, tiling, plastering and decorating
- Diagnosing faults and completing first-time fix repairs where possible
- Responsive maintenance within occupied and void properties
- Managing workloads effectively and completing works within required timeframes
- Using mobile devices to receive, update and complete work orders
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety requirements
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience as a Multi Trader
- Essential: Experience within Social Housing, MOD or similar residential environments
- A strong all-round skillset across multiple trades
- Relevant qualifications desirable (NVQ/City & Guilds)
- Full UK driving licence
