My client is a national construction contractor currently recruiting for a Contract Manager to lead several contracts. These projects will deliver approximately GBP5 million annually and involve fire protection works such as fire door installation and fire stopping.
The Role
In this role, you will collaborate with a commercial manager to ensure P&L, budgets, and deadlines are met. You will be responsible for maintaining service and quality standards, controlling costs, creating CPP and programming works, and budgeting. You will also implement strong H&S practices. Your team will include management, supervisors, operatives, and office staff. You will report directly to the divisional director, who will support you in making the contracts successful.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will possess extensive building knowledge and experience managing passive fire protection contracts. Experience in managing multiple site teams, strategic project planning, and problem-solving in complex situations is essential. A good understanding of current legislation and strong organizational skills are also desired. Ability to foster a collaborative working environment, build strong client and team relationships, and achieve targets and goals is crucial.
