Overview
Operations Manager – Main Contractor for Passive Fire Safety in Property Services & Commercial. Salary: Up to £100,000+ package. Location: London & South East.
Role
Within this role, you will work alongside a commercial manager ensuring P&L, budgets and deadlines are met. You would be responsible for ensuring the level of service and quality is to the highest standard as well as cost control, creating CPP & programming of works and budgeting. Your direct team will include contract managers, supervisors and office staff. You will report directly to the divisional director who will support you in making the contracts a success.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside a commercial manager to manage P&L, budgets and deadlines.
- Ensure service quality and cost control; maintain high standards.
- Create CPP and programming of works and budgeting.
- Lead a team including contract managers, supervisors and office staff.
- Report to the divisional director and support contract success.
Candidate requirements
- Extensive building knowledge and experience managing passive fire safety works (fire door installation and fire stopping).
- Experience managing multiple site teams; strategic project planning; problem solving in complex situations.
- Up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation; strong organisational skills.
- Ability to foster a strong working environment and build relationships with clients and team members.
