Work Planner
Location: West Ham
Rate:Up to Β£20ph
Contract: Temporary - 3 months
We are currently working with a leading social housing organisation who are looking to recruit an experienced Work Planner to join their Planning and Scheduling Team on a 3-month temporary contract.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling technicians working on reactive repairs across a large housing portfolio, ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and within agreed timescales.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating the planning and scheduling of maintenance technicians carrying out reactive repairs.
- Managing technicians' diaries and timetables to ensure jobs are completed within agreed timescales.
- Scheduling and allocating repairs to the appropriate operatives.
- Logging job information, data and notes accurately on the relevant systems.
- Monitoring emails and responding to queries in a timely manner.
- Escalating issues to the Team Leader where required.
- Monitoring outstanding repairs and ensuring maintenance issues are resolved within agreed service levels.
- Liaising with internal teams, operatives and customers to ensure effective communication.
- Providing a high level of customer service to residents and internal teams.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience within a planning or scheduling role.
- Repairs and maintenance knowledge is essential.
- Experience within social housing, property services or a similar environment would be beneficial.
- Strong front-line customer service experience.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage competing workloads.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Office.
- Strong administration and attention to detail.
