We are currently looking for an experienced Fire Compliance Surveyor to join a growing team working on projects across London. This role will focus heavily on compartmentation surveys within loft spaces, ensuring buildings meet current fire safety and compliance standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in passive fire protection, fire stopping, or building surveying who is confident working in loft environments and producing detailed compliance reports.
As a Fire Compliance Surveyor, you will be responsible for carrying out compartmentation surveys in loft spaces across residential and commercial properties throughout London.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct compartmentation surveys within loft spaces
- Identify breaches in fire walls, ceilings, cavity barriers, and fire stopping
- Inspect fire-stopping around pipes, cables, and ductwork
- Assess compliance with current fire safety regulations and Approved Document B
- Produce detailed survey reports including:
- Photographs of defects
- Descriptions of issues
- Recommended remedial actions
- Experience in fire compartmentation, surveying, passive fire protection, or related fields
