Fortus Recruitment Group Limited are currently working on behalf of a large social housing contractor. My client is looking for a Floor Layer to join their team covering the Richmond/ Kingston/ Mertom area. This is an opportunity to join a growing organisation carrying out flooring repairs, maintenance and installations within residential properties.

Duties will include:

  • Installing various floor coverings including Vinyl, Lino, Carpet, Laminate and Tiles
  • Fitting Poly Safe flooring
  • Cap & Cove flooring
  • Wet room flooring
  • Preparing surfaces including cleaning, levelling and applying adhesives/underlays
  • Carrying out repairs to existing flooring
  • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
  • Working safely and professionally within occupied properties

To be considered for this role, you must have previous Floor Laying experience, ideally within social housing or residential maintenance. You will also need your own tools, including a Vinyl Welder.

This is a permanent position and you will receive the below:
