Passive Fire Contract Manager - Main Contractor. Passive Fire Safety Projects. GBP55,000 - GBP70,000 + Package.
My client is a national construction contractor who are currently recruiting for a Contract Manager to head up several contracts. They will be delivering circa GBP5 million PA and will consist of fire protection projects such as fire door installation and fire stopping works.
Responsibilities
- Lead contracts as Contract Manager across multiple passive fire protection projects (e.g., fire door installation and fire stopping).
- Deliver circa GBP5 million per annum across active schemes.
- Work with the commercial manager to ensure P&L, budgets and deadlines are met.
- Ensure level of service and quality is maintained to the highest standard, with cost control, creating CPP and programming of works, and budgeting.
- Implement strong health and safety practices on site.
- Direct and coordinate a team that includes management, supervisors, operatives and office staff.
- Report directly to the divisional director to support successful contract delivery.
The Candidate
- Extensive building knowledge and experience managing passive fire protection contracts.
- Experience managing multiple site teams, strategically planning projects and solving problems in complex situations.
- Good knowledge of up-to-date legislations and strong organisational skills.
- Ability to foster a strong working environment, promote teamwork to achieve targets and build strong relationships with clients and team members.
Salary & Benefits
Salary: GBP55,000 - GBP70,000 plus package.
