Our Client, a construction contractor are currently looking for an experienced Contracts Supervisor to join their planned works division on a long-term framework.
Projects that are being delivered will are Retrofit and FRA projects. They will be being delivered to tower blocks and scattered properties in South East London and Kent.
On a day to day basis, you will act as an integral part of the operational team and carry out the following duties:
Lead teams, setting performance targets and supporting staff development through regular reviews and appraisals.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and role requirements across the team.
Manage subcontractors, including sourcing, negotiating rates and ensuring adequate resources are available to meet programme and quality standards.
Champion health & safety, ensuring compliance with CDM regulations, risk assessments, method statements and site safety requirements.
Carry out site inspections, including scaffold inspections, to ensure works meet required health, safety, quality and programme standards.
Monitor project progress and quality, identifying issues early and implementing corrective actions where required.
Maintain accurate project records and documentation, including health & safety files, site records and management information.
Manage additional works, ensuring they are accurately recorded, authorised and submitted to the client.
Support financial management, including subcontractor rates, additional works and payment authorisation.
My client are looking for someone with strong communication skills and a proven track record managing and delivering planned maintenance projects.
A valid SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS, and Asbestos Awareness are required.
This is a permanent position which will offer training and development as well as good progression opportunities for the successful candidate.
