We are currently working on behalf of a Local Authority. You will be responsible for the inspection, testing, and reporting of fire and smoke dampers in accordance with current legislation, British Standards, and industry best practice. The role involves site-based inspections, accurate reporting, and professional liaison with clients and site representatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and test fire and smoke dampers in line with statutory requirements and British Standards
- Accurately record condition, accessibility, and operational performance
- Produce clear, factual inspection reports supported by photographic evidence
- Identify defects, non-compliances, and access issues requiring remedial action
