Our Client, a leading construction contractor, is currently looking for a Building Surveyor to join their planned works division on a brand new 20-year framework. Projects that are being delivered will be to properties across North London, including tower blocks and scattered properties.
On a day-to-day basis, you will act as an integral part of the operational team and carry out the following duties:
- Completing Validation Surveys
- Diagnose building defects and identify appropriate repair solutions.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, architects, engineers, and local authorities.
- Ensure compliance with building regulations, planning requirements, health and safety legislation, and relevant standards.
- Advise clients on maintenance, refurbishment, restoration, and construction projects.
My client is looking for someone with strong communication skills and IT knowledge, as well as a proven track record completing Validation Surveys. A driver with their own vehicle is also required.
This is a permanent position which will offer development as well as good progression opportunities for the successful candidate.
