Job Title: Fire Stopper Location:Bristol Day Rate: £220.00 – £230.00 per day Contract Type: Ongoing / Long-term Contract Start Date: Immediate About the Role We are looking for an experienced, NVQ-qualified Fire Stopper to join an ongoing contract in the Bristol area. You will work closely with the site supervisor across day-to-day operations—assisting with initial surveys, carrying out compliant service penetration installations, and seeing works through to final handover and sign-off. Key Responsibilities Active Installation: Installing ablative batt, mastic seals, fire wraps, pipe collars, and compound mortar seals to service penetrations and linear gaps. Compliance Standards: Ensuring every seal meets FIRAS requirements and exact manufacturer test data. Survey & Prep Support: Assisting the supervisor with preliminary surveys, identifying required seals, and preparing service openings. Digital Logging: Taking clear photographic evidence and logging completed works Handover & Snagging: Assisting with site snagging and final inspections to drive works across the line at project completion. Requirements & Qualifications Accreditation: NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection (Blue CSCS Card) Experience: Proven on-site commercial fire stopping experience with a track record of quality finishes.
